The second most overlooked component that the sales person requires is effective marketing materials such as a professional Listing Presentation and then knowledge in the use of these materials. In general, most training programs are based around what the agent should be saying and doing during the course of a particular real estate experience. They do not address the fact that the agent has to create the opportunity before the experience can take place. No agent will be successful over the long term without creating a system that will generate leads on an on-going basis. It is too expensive and to demanding to be continually searching for new business. The sales person must develop a PLAN that will generate business continuously.
