TRAINING COURSE for a SUCCESSFUL REAL ESTATE CAREER
After 20 years of training new and newly experienced sales representatives for a career in Real Estate, I have come to the conclusion that most trainers miss the key component of what a new sales person really requires - a workable Real Estate BUSINESS PLAN. The second most overlooked component that the salesperson requires is effective marketing materials such as a professional Listing Presentation and then the knowledge as to how to effectively implement them. In general, most training programs are based around what the agent should be saying and doing during the course of a particular real estate experience. They do not address the fact that the agent has to create the opportunity before the experience can take place. No agent will be successful over the long term without creating a system that will generate leads on an on-going basis. It is too expensive and to demanding to be continually searching for new business. The sales person must develop a PLAN that will generate business continuously. This Real Estate website has a dual purpose.

 First, it is to assist those wishing to begin a Real Estate Career by providing access to the basic knowledge and information they will require to accomplish this goal. We provide a synopsis of what can expected and what they should be prepared for if they take the necessary courses. The site also links to the OREA site where they can enroll in those very courses. Further, it provides direct access to a “Real Estate Skills Assessment” software by simply “clicking” on the car graphic on the Homepage. This on-line software program will allow them to accurately analyze their strengths and weaknesses as they relate to a Real Estate sales career before even beginning the process. And, finally, we present them with the full scope of what Sutton Group – Summit Realty Inc. will do for a new (or experienced) Real Estate salesperson should they decide to join our company after completion of the courses. This information includes the real estate training courses provided by Sutton Group and by our office, as well as, the follow-up support they can expect at our Brokerage. It also provides the contact information to arrange a meeting.

 

Second, the site is set-up to give the public  access to thousands of MLS listed homes and condos in Mississauga and throughout the GTA. It allows the interested party to view properties at their leisure, calculate mortgage payments instantly while viewing the specific home or condo they have chosen, print out feature sheets of that home or condo, request an appointment on-line to view the houses and, even, email the information found on the site directly from this site to a friend. It also has slide shows they can view and, in some cases, virtual tours of the homes. They can select an agent from the listings or from the office list of approximately 150 sales representatives licensed with Sutton Group – Summit Realty.

Another excellent feature of our site is that it is monitored constantly for email requests so that no one has to wait hours or days, as is so often the case, when an individual requests information over the Internet about a specific home or homes. The potential Buyer or Seller can expect an email response or phone call almost immediately during our extended business hours.
